I am privileged to have worked with author Barry Lopez on a number of projects since 1989, including our collaborations on limited edition artist's book versions of Apologia and The Letters of Heaven . Through the years I have also, on occasion, painted works in direct response to particular writings of Barry's. Some of these works include, The Kindness of Animals, Rowena, The Open Lot, Learning to See, Winter Herons and the series entitled The Rediscovery of North America.
